Story 

Raju is his real name but due to his unhealthy and unkempt manner of living, he is called "Junglee" by everyone in his village, all save for ex-convict Ustad Anwar who has served time for murder, and his father. When Raju's dad passes away, the local money-lender gives him an ultimatum to either re-pay the loan or he will take possession of his house and land. Raju decides to hitch a ride to Bombay, get a job, save some money, buy a couple of bullocks, till his land and re-pay the money-lender. No one gives him a ride, so he stows away in the back of a fruit-laden truck, which has one more stowaway, a run-away gypsy named Tarna. Both of them meet, fall in love, promise to help and marry each other. After the truck ride, they board a goods train bound for Bombay, but during the journey both get separated. A few months Raju finds out that Tarna is now known as Meenakshi, a movie actress

Laila (Divya Bharti), brought up in a brothel, is a cabaret dancer in Digvijay Singh's (Kabir Bedi) five-star hotel. One day, Laila receives a phone call from her mother who is just about to die and tells her a shocking news that she was not her real mother, and that Laila was an adopted child.

Karan (Shahrukh Khan) falls in love with Laila. Laila is aided by Karan in the search for her real mother. Her search leads them to Razia (Farida Jalal), who divulges that 18 years ago, there were three naughty girls in her college: Barkha (Dimple Kapadia), Raaj (Amrita Singh) and Salma (Sonu Walia). They were in love with their respective boyfriends: Sunil (Mithun Chakraborty), Prince Arjun (Jeetendra) and Akram (Naseer Abdullah). One day they found out that one of them is pregnant (not mentioned then who). They take a house from Razia and get the baby delivered. Soon when the baby is six months, she is sent to Razia and they promise that whoever from them will be the first to get married will adopt her and they name her Sitara. Karan finds out that Barkha is now the health and wealth minister, Raaj is training horses for polo and has married Arjun, and Salma is the principal of St. Teresa's (the college she studied in) and has married Akram. They are no longer in touch with each other. Karan and Laila invites the three women to a place giving them different reasons for the invition. After a naughty dance show by Laila, when Laila/Sitara confronts them they turn and go away. It is revealed Salma was the first one to marry but was scared to tell her in-laws about Sitara. Digvijay Singh throws Laila out of his hotel, and when she's about to get attacked by a street gang Prince Arjun rescues her and takes her home. During a Diwali party, a person insults Sitara in front of everyone and then Barkha confesses that she is Sitara's mother. While she is about to go and give her resignation letter, Sitara asks her about her father and Barkha tells her that he left to the United States for some kind of military training and never heard from him again. Raaj and Salma come to pay a visit to Sitara while Barkha has gone to give her resignation from her post. Then some paid criminals come and kidnap them. These thugs have been sent by Digvijay and Govardhan Das. Karan goes to rescue them with Barkha and prince while fighting suddenly Sunil comes as a navy officer. One of the goons is about to shoot Karan when Digvijay Singh comes and shoots the goon and accepts Sitara.

Raj Malhotra (Raju) (Govinda), a detective, goes on a European trip to help his friend Sanjay Khanna (Nirmal Pandey) prove that his wife is having an extramarital affair. Khanna and his wife Anjali (Ritu Shivpuri) think that their counterpart is cheating on their relationship and each of them want proof to easily file for divorce. They stop living in the same house and believe their spouse has gone to Europe with their boyfriend/girlfriend. Anjali sends her friend (Rani Mukerji), who shares the same name, on this trip to get information regarding her husband. In a mix-up of different identities, Raju and Anjali fall in love and then, eventually, solve their misunderstandings.

This movie is inspired by the 1948 musical romantic comedy film Romance on the High Seas.

This film is about the lives and travails of people living around a fictitious traffic signal in Mumbai.

Anybody who drives in Mumbai has experienced the 2-odd minute wait at a traffic signal. But do you know that you contribute to the economy at that signal?

The traffic signal includes a microcosm of people who derive their daily livelihoods from it. There are beggars (kids and adults), prostitutes, tricksters, eunuchs and others who sell clothes, flowers and trinkets. They speak quickly, act fast and operate somewhat honorably (with each other) to eke a meager living out of the harsh Mumbai street life. They owe allegiance and hafta (weekly "protection" fee) to the Signal Manager, Silsila (Kunal Khemu).

Synopsis: Ramkishen (Alok Nath) and his wife Mamta (Reema Lagoo) head a big joint family. They have three sons - Vivek (Mohnish Behl), Prem (Salman Khan), Vinod (Saif Ali Khan) and a daughter, Sangeeta (Neelam) who is married to Anand (Mahesh Thakur). Vivek gets married to Sadhana (Tabu), Prem and Vinod get engaged to Preeti (Sonali Bendre) and Sapna (Karishma Kapoor) respectively. Now the turmoil starts. Anand's brother throws him, Sangeeta and their child out of their house. This incident triggers insecurity in Mamta's mind regarding the relationship between her sons - would Vivek be tempted to act similarly if he heads the business in future? 

Her three nosy society friends and Sapna's father Dharamraj (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) add fuel to the fire. Mamta decides that there should be separation within family. Ramkishen gives in to her demands, albeit reluctantly. But will the three brothers accept it? Would Mamta change her mind for good?

Main Hoon Rakhwala starring "Megastar" Chiranjeevi is testament to how low a Hindi movie can go.

The Hindi version of the 1999 Telugu film Sneham Kosam, Main Hoon Rakhwala also features Meena, Prakashraj and Sujatha in key roles.

A jaded story, horrid songs, juvenile comedy scenes and awful acting demonstrates how far behind the Telugu film industry is compared to Bollywood (which itself is pitiful compared to Hollywood). For those not in the know, Telugu is the language spoken in the Southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The Telugu film industry is also known as Tollywood.

After his father goes to jail for murder, a young boy Chotu (Chiranjeevi) is affectionately raised by the rich landlord of the village, who treats him as a son rather than as a servant. As he grows into a strapping young man, Chotu's bond to the landlord becomes closer.

Into this harmonic picture, enters Gudiya a.k.a Prabha (Meena), the younger daughter of the landlord back home after completing her higher studies in America. After getting the reluctant Chotu to fall for her, Gudiya one day suddenly screams rape, leading the landlord to whip Chotu and kick him out of the house.

Then there's the landlord's evil son-in-law (Prakashraj) plotting to usurp the property of the old man through nefarious means.

Chiranjeevi's action/stunt scenes are so sophomoric as to defy description. Meena badly needs a refresher course in acting.

Lakeer is a 2004 Hindi Bollywood Movie.

Summary -- The Story is about Karan the brother of wealthy Arjun Rana attends College and is smitten by the charm of the beautiful Bindiya, his fellow collegian, and subsequently fell in love with her. For some reason or the other Karan is unable to profess his love to Bindiya, unknown to Karan, Bindiya has no similar feelings for him but is undoubtedly attracted to Sahil, who comes from a poor background and whose brother, Sanju makes his living by operating as a mechanic. When Karan and his friends come to know about Sahil and Bindiya they publicly humiliate and insult Sahil on the College campus. Unable to bear disgrace, Sahil attempts suicide but survives after he is admitted to the hospital. In seeking revenge for his brother's state; Sanju publicly beats up Karan badly injuring him. When Arjun comes to know of this he decides to take a stand by burning the entire locality where Sanju resides. After three months things seem to have calmed down when Karan gets discharged from hospital, Sahil leaves college and takes up employment in a café and Sanju's business is once again restored to him. Then Bindiya and Sahil confess their love for each other. At last, Sahil wins the fight against the bad guy Karan and Karan dies. Then Bindiya and Sahil lives their life together happily ever after.

Namun semuanya berubah ketika Raja bertemu dengan seorang gadis cantik bernama Madhoo (Karisma Kapoor). Raja pun jatuh cinta kepada Madhoo sehingga berusaha menyakinkan kedua orangtuanya agar mau mengambil gadis tersebut sebagai menantu mereka. Jamindar dan istrinya pun mengunjungi orangtua Madhoo untuk mengatur pernikahan Madhoo dengan Raja. Orangtua Madhoo dan gadis tersebut sendiri bersedia menerima lamaran, apalagi orangtua Raja adalah orang kaya dan terhormat sehingga pernikahan pun direncanakan. Tetapi apa lacur Madhoo menemukan bahwa Raja ternyata tidak berpendidikan sehingga membatalkan pernikahan mereka. Orangtua Raja pun mendapat malu di muka umum.

Sahibaan lives a poor lifestyle in a small village in ancient India along with her mom, dad, Balakram, and a mentally challenged cousin, Kheru. Balakram makes a living selling dolls. Sahibaan is in love with a homeless laborer, Gopi, who lives near Mandirs and eats whatever the villagers give him. One day while chasing a rabbit, Sahibaan ends up in the palace ground of ruthless killer, alcoholic and womanizer Kunwar Vijay Pal Singh, is abducted by his guards and left at the mercy of Vijay, but Sahibaan manages to escape. Vijay, however, is unable to get her out of his mind and asks Diwan Durga Singh to search high and low for her. The Diwan is able to find her during a Mela and takes several men, sweetmeats, jewelry and clothing to propose to a delighted and disbelieving Balakram and his wife. They are angered when Sahibaan refuses to marry Vijay, and asks them to get her to marry Gopi. When Gopi proposes, he is humiliated, beaten and asked to leave. Diwan returns to Vijay, who decides to kill Gopi, locates him, beats him, and throws him in the river. When Sahibaan tells that Vijay had attempted to molest her, Balakram refuses to permit her to marry Vijay, despite of the fact that Vijay promises to stop drinking alcohol and having his way with women. Both Balakram and Sahibaan set out to try and locate Gopi. The question remains will they be able to locate Gopi in time?

Sahibaan (Madhuri Dixit) is a young carefree village girl who falls in love with Gopi (Rishi Kapoor) she also catches the eye of wealthy Vijay (Sanjay Dutt) who is determined to marry her. Saibaan refuses the relationship as she believes Vijay to be an alcoholic and is in love with Gopi. Gopi later goes missing and Sahibaan believes him to be dead although he has only lost his memory.

This movie is about the tawaif Sahibjaan, (Meena Kumari), who is born to a courtesan, Nargis (also Meena Kumari). After being spurned by her lover Shahabuddin's (Ashok Kumar) family, Nargis is driven to a graveyard where she gives birth to Sahibjaan secretly. Nargis dies during childbirth and her sister, Nawabjaan, takes the child as her own. Sahibjaan was brought up by brothel madame Nawabjaan (Veena). Unable to break away from the vicious circle, Sahibjaan grows up and becomes a beautiful and popular dancer/singer. Forest ranger Salim Ahmed Khan (Raaj Kumar) is enthralled by Sahibjaan's beauty and innocence, and eventually convinces her to elope with him, which she does. But trials and tribulations await Sahibjaan as she is recognized by men wherever she goes in the company of Salim. When Salim renames her Pakeezah (pure of heart) and takes her to a priest to be legally married, she refuses, and returns to the brothel. Salim eventually decides to marry someone else, and invites Sahibjaan to dance at his wedding Sahibjaan agrees to this. During this event, the story reveals an exciting turn: Nawab recognises Shahabuddin and calls him to witness the irony of the situation. His own daughter employed to dance and entertain his own family without his knowing.
