The film is about of a girl named Tanya (Esha Deol) who learns that she is adopted and wants to know her biological parents. She travels across the globe to find them. The first man she visits is a Hindu king (played by Vinod Khanna) named Abhay Pratap, ruling a patriarchal district in Rajasthan, where female infanticide is common. However, it's revealed that another girl, not Tanya, is the true princess since her nanny had hidden the truth from everyone. Even the king hadn't known that his wife had given birth before dying in a fire.

Tanya then travels to Turkey to meet Altaf Zardari (played by Rishi Kapoor). Zardari and his non-Indian wife live a romantic life, but the wife doesn't remember losing her baby girl in the fire that demolished the hospital Tanya was born in. Tanya helps her regain her memory about the incident and accept her daughter's death, thinking that all the while she might be their true daughter. Since that's not the case, broken-hearted Tanya returns to India and her foster parents.

She then embarks on one last mission to find her father; this time it's Tony Castello (played by Dharmendra), a mafia leader. Initially doubtful of her, Tony meets up with his ex-flame, Suzie (Hema Malini), who is now a nun. Eventually, after a gang fight, Tony accepts Tanya as his daughter and the movie ends with Tanya and her best friend (Arjan Bajwa) marrying in a church, with all four of Tanya's fathers walking her up the aisle.

Story: Krish and Meera, an upwardly mobile couple, hit a rough patch in their marriage. They go on a vacation to rekindle the fire in their crumbling relationship by seeking out the great Indian butterfly, a mythical insect that seems to bring luck, peace and happiness. Do they find it? 

Movie Review: Is marriage a moribund institution? Has it lost its relevance -- and longevity -- in the rough and tumble of urban life? Can it survive the incessant bickerings of yuppie couples who value individual spaces as much as intimacy, and ambition as much -- or even more -- than adjustment? 

Ramvilas Sharma (Vinay Pathak) has just ended his live-in relationship with his girlfriend Sanjana Mahadik (Mahie Gill). His detective friend Nandu (Saurabh Shukla) sets him up with Koel Datta (Mona Singh), who has also ended her relationship with her boyfriend after finding out that he was cheating on her.

Unknown to Ram, Sanjana is having an affair with gangster Lucky Sardana (also played by Vinay Pathak). When Sanjana realizes that Lucky is using 5 crore of his money to buy a flat for his wife Nimmi (Delnaaz Paul), she absconds with the money.

Sanjana decides to take Nandu's help in recovering her passport from Ram's place so that she can leave the country with the money. However, Nandu decides to return the money to Lucky, as he doesn't want to have anything to do with Lucky's money. He returns the bag to Lucky not realizing that Sanjana has switched the bags and has hidden the money at Ram's place.

The remainder of the movie depicts how the money causes confusion in the lives of the characters.

Seema (Juhi Chawla), on the other side, is an ambitious young woman and an aspiring model. Rahul and Seema meet but Siddharth, too, falls for her and asks Rahul to help him trap her. A helpless Rahul does so. But deep somewhere, Rahul has a soft corner for Seema. Seema is impressed by Siddharth and is forced by him to act as Rahul's wife to fool Siddharth's wife. But Seema slowly understands Rahul's purity of heart and begins liking him when they go abroad for a shooting schedule.
But they face a problem. Rahul's mother (Reema Lagoo) is a heart patient and is sensitive to any shocking news. Bhushan (Gulshan Grover) uses Rahul and tells his mother that Rahul is married. To keep his mother happy, Rahul and Seema are forced to carry the drama and they fall in love during the process.
When Siddharth learns the reality, he fires Rahul. True love triumphs as Seema decides to let a luxurious life go for true love.
