Laughter is the best medicine. And that's exactly what Neha Arts' NAYEEPADOSAN offers in ample doses. Set in Mumbai, this feel-goodentertainer has enough funny moments to give your cheekbones adequateexercise for the day.

The story revolves around the protagonist or the 'Nayee Padosan' [MahekChahal], who has shifted to a new locality. Her simplicity,righteousness and no-nonsense attitude are qualities any man would wanthis life partner to possess.

Three boys - Raju [Anuj Sawhney], Raja [Aslam Khan] and Ram [VikasKalantri] - from different backgrounds, characteristics and modusoperandi are swept head over heals in love with the girl.

What follows next is a laugh riot, in the way the three eligiblebachelors try and get themselves acquainted and eventually outwit oneanother to get the girl.

The film takes a sudden turn when a new entry - Prabhu [Rahul Bhat] -that happens to be a favourite of both the girl and her family shattersthe hopes of the three eligible bachelors. Nothing seems to stop theinevitable. The battle seems lost for the three hapless boys.

The film goes through various emotional graphs where the three boyshave their individual shares of gains and losses vis-a-vis theircompetitors. The girl doesn't reveal her feelings until a certainchange of events makes her realise whom she really loves and would wantto spend the rest of her life with.

The film starts with a footballer, Lorry (Prateik Babbar), who alongwith his girlfriend gets admission into an American college. But due toinsufficient funds, he is unable to fulfill his dream. He is sad as hisgirlfriend is leaving so his friend, Ricky (Gulshan Devaiah), cheershim up by taking him to a party. He then tells him that he can get himinto the US college where his girlfriend is going to be, but there onlyone condition. To do that he will have to smuggle a few packets ofcocaine along with him. At first he disagrees but then he finallyagrees and gets cocaine sealed in his bags. At the airport hesuccessfully passes the X-ray machine and is all set to leave.
The story then flashes back a few years and introduces us to ACP VishnuKamath (Abhishek Bachchan). Kamath is a corrupt cop who accepts a lotof bribes in order to satisfy his family. But one day it turns out thatlife takes revenge from him and his family dies in a car accident. Thenback to the present year, he is offered a job by the Chief Minister ofGoa. The job is to flush out all the drug gangsters in Goa. He acceptsthe job and forms a team who helps him with the case. According to GoaPolice Department, the drug supply in Goa is distributed in four parts.One is the Russian Drug Mafia, the other is Nigerian, then English andthe final one is the local people of Goa. First they attack the RussianRegion, then carry on with Nigeria and England and the local. Thisleads to a panic among the drug suppliers and as a result Rave Partiesare cancelled and the drug supply comes to a halt. The drug dealersgather for a meeting lead by Zoey (Bipasha Basu). Zoey guarantees themthat their drugs will be in safe hands, if they give them away to aperson named Michael Barbosa, a person who has no identity and moveslike a shadow and has helped them out for ages. All of the Drug dealersagree with Zoey. This frustrates Kamath as he is unable to get to thedrugs. So he decides to chase Michael Barbosa in order to get thedrugs. He finds out Via his sources about of the drug dealer namedRicky. Ricky is all set with Lorry to smuggle drugs to USA, but whenKamath reaches out for Ricky, he is already dead. Kamath and his copscheck out Ricky's apartment where they find out about him smugglingcocaine to USA, they also find out about his Live-in girlfriend namedRozanna who is from Brazil and once used to see Lorry. So with all thisinformation they reach the Goa International Airport on the same daywhen Lorry is about to leave. At the airport Kamath encounters Rozanna,Ricky's girlfriend and identifies her as she had been wearing the samekind of a bra that they previously found in Ricky's apartment. The Copsdetain Rozanna and check her mobile phone. Kamath finds out a photo ofLorry in Rozanna. She is allowed to go after she is found innocent.Later, when Kamath and his cops are searching the airport for the drugdealer, Kamath identifies Lorry as the person he had seen in Rozanna'sphone. They then detain him and on searching his luggage they find out2kg out cocaine stuffed in his bag.

Veer Kapoor (Fardeen Khan) is a struggling artist who hopes to make itbig someday with his rock group but at present is totteringfinancially. His only source of income is a monthly pocket money of Rs1 Lakh from his wealthy elder step brother Dharam Kapoor (Sanjay Dutt),for which Veer has told a lie about him being married to Vidya (MugdhaGodse) whereas she is only his girlfriend. His best friend is PremChopra (Ajay Devgan), who is married to Jhanvi (Bipasha Basu). Jhanviruns a broken down gymnasium owned by Prem's family and Prem spends histime mechanically modifying cars.
Veer and Prem require a sum of Rs. 5 Lakhs to register Prem's car foran illegal race (if they win they will get 50 lakhs)- which he and Premborrow from a local mute loan shark Tobu (Johnny Lever) after showinghim a car designed by Prem which Prem assures him cannot lose.Impressed by this vehicle, Tobu in addition to lending Prem and Veer 5Lakhs, also invests 5 Lakhs of his own on Prem. Prem loses the race andends up owing a sum of 10 Lakhs to Tobu which should be paid within aweek.
Prem decides to rent out Veer's Bungalow to a local slum dweller RGV(Sanjay Mishra) who has won a lottery and collects an advance of Rs 2.5Lakhs. However everything gets into a muddle when Dharam Kapoor isstranded in Goa Airport during his journey to Lushoto in Africa andinsists on catching up with his younger brother.
Since Vidya had a fight with Veer and is temporarily unavailable, aftersome confusion when Veer and Dharam land back home from the Airport.Dharam sees Jhanvi and takes her for Vidya, and later when he seesVidya, Prem and Veer tell him she is Jhanvi who is Prem's girlfriend.Jhanvi pretends to be Vidya, Veer's wife and Vidya pretends to beJhanvi, Prem's girlfriend. Things get into a deeper muddle with regularvisits from the new tenant RGV, Tobu and his thugs and finally by aprincess of Lushoto (Bipasha Basu in a double role).

Always Kabhi Kabhi focuses on 4 students and their struggle throughtheir final year at St Mark's School. First teenager, Shortcut Sam (AliFazal); the cool guy, who falls in love with Aishwarya (GiselliMonteiro). Aishwarya is a new student who befriends Sam on her firstday, and the two fall in love first sight. The next two friends, Tariq(Satyajeet Dubey) and Nandy (Zoa Morani), who love to fight and arguewith each other, though the two never realize they are actually inlove. The story then moves onto Sam mostly, who throws a party atstrip-club "Hell Fire", which is later raided and Sam is arrested. Twopolice inspectors record Sam holding drugs, though the drugs actuallybelonged to the police, and were trying to blackmail Sam into payingthem 50,000 rupees. Not just this, the St. Mark's School starts aShakespearewallah play, and Sam gets the lead role as "Romeo".
Sam gets fed up with all this tension, and starts to argue withAishwarya. She starts crying and runs out, though when Sam chases afterher, he reveals a shock only to find that Aishwarya has been hit by acar. He takes her to the hospital with Tariq and Nandy, and she fallsinto coma. The three friends then participate in their school play,though after they realize what going to school has done to theirmiserable lives, instead of performing classic Romeo and Juliet, thethree and the rest of their friends perform their own frequency, by thesong "Antenna".
