Rog is the story of a troubled police officer who falls in love with a dead woman whose murder he is investigating. Maya Solomon mesmerizes all who surround her with her breathtaking beauty and sensuality. Thus giving more twists and turns in the game of life. Inspector Arjun is an honest and diligent police officer. He has an older step-brother named Bhishma, and a younger brother named Suraj. While Bhishma lives with their mother in the village, Arjun and Suraj live in the city. Suraj get's employed at a poultry farm, but finds out that this is just a front for drugs like cocaine. His attempts to get this information to the police and his brother are in vain, as he is captured by the owner of the poultry farm, who owe their allegiance to notorious gangster Dhaman Chamunda. When Dhaman comes to know about Suraj, he decides to teach Arjun and Bhishma a lesson - first by splitting them up over the property they own in the village, then by framing Bhishma for the death of Suraj. With anger and hostilities reigning high amongst the two remaining brothers, Dhaman and his men decide to take full advantage of this situation, and watch in glee as the two brothers go against each other, in a fight to the death.

Sonia and Naina Sehgal (both played by Kajol) are twins. The two are completely different from each other, Sonia being the outgoing twin and Naina being the shy twin. Synopsis
Deva (Surya) is a smuggler who works under the number one mafia don Das (Prabhu). Kamlesh (Akashdeep Saigal) forms the rival mafia group and he wants to take over Das in business. Deva’s main work includes smuggling diamonds from African countries. Chitti (Jegan) is Deva’s sidekick. Das has some principles and he never deals with drugs. The rest of the story is all about what happens between Deva and Kamlesh.

Krishan (Surya) is an old man living with his wife Malini (Simran), daughter, and daughter-in-law Priya (Divya Spandana). His son Surya (Surya) serves in the Indian Army. For the smoker he is, Krishnan dies of throat cancer. Surya hears the news of his father's death when he's on a rescue mission to save a female journalist. As a loyal Army major, he cannot forsake his duty, and he thus sits in the helicopter calmly, taking the news through his memories of his dad. He recollects his life through these memories, starting from being a high school kid to being the Army major he now is. He walks through his teenage - the petty fights over girls, etc. and his casual engineering life. He remembers meeting Meghana (Sameera Reddy) in the train and falling in love with her and looking at it as purely as looking at his mom and dad's love story, eventually making her feel for him, going all the way to USA for her, and losing her right there, sharing all feelings with his dad all through. The eventual downfall of his spirit throws him into being an alcoholic and a drug addict.
