This chilling tale is about the trauma a busy lady doctor, Dr Priya (Jayaprada) goes through when she hires a new governess, Kiran (Anu Agarwal) for her kids. Kiran is efficient, charming and very good at her job but a series of weird events shatters the peace in the home. Dr Priya gradually discovers a connection between these events and Kiran. Who is this woman and why is she doing these things?

Jaya Kapoor lives a wealthy life-style with her husband, Ravi, daughter and a new-born baby boy. Jaya and Ravi have a family friend in Varsha who works as a journalist at Indian Express. One day Jaya decides to go to see a doctor, Dr. Rajan Bakshi, as she is feeling unwell. Unfortunately while examining her Dr. Rajan, attempts to molest her. Her luck holds out and she manages to escape, telling Ravi and Varsha who encourages her to file a police complaint against Dr. Rajan, as well as publish this shame-full act on the media, which she does. The case is tried in court and Dr. Rajan is found guilty but things take a turn for the worse when the police go and arrest him. Time passes and Jaya decides to hire a governess for her baby. The Kapoor family is highly impressed with the nanny, Kiran, and how she handles herself. Soon things start to go wrong for the family. One small controversy happened after the release of this film. Two of this movie's songs have been censored/banned from the Government-run All India Radio and Doordarshan ("Aaj peene ki tamana hai, main piyuga behisaab, kal ki kal soochoga, jab hoga gunaoh ka hisaab.... " sung by Mithun. This movie made history when cuss words were used in a song sung by Kishore Kumar "Khali botal ki tarah, aadmi hai khali, apni bhi kya koi zindagi hai saali...saali..."

Although about the film; Ilaaka - has a small little world of its own. A world of dreams and desires love and longings, hatred and hardships.

This is Raja (Mithun) who stands at the cross roads of truth and traditions.

In this small world we have Suraj (Sanjay Dutt) and Neha (Amrita Singh), the two brave Police Officers against the might of evil.

And we have the evil incarnated too! Nagar (Amrish Puri) as vicious as a viper and as blood thirsty as a wolf.

This is a story of a boy and girl who meet for the first time in an airport and fall in love before they board their respective flights. Dhruv is the boy and Harika is the girl. Both of them are two distinctive individuals. Dhruv is a kind of boy who loves to take chances in life. Harika is the one who likes to make right choices in life, She is doing Masters in Lifestyles Design Academy in Malaysia. Right now she is on her way to INDIA to meet a prospective groom whom her parents have chosen for her.
Dhruv falls in love at first sight with Harika when he sees her in airport. But he has only two hours to make her fall in love with him. The rest of the story is all about how he succeeds in it.

 

                                                    

It was love at first sight for unemployed Ashish Khanna and Rani Bhalla at a cold drink stall. When Rani introduces Ashish to her businessman dad, Tau, and mom, they unanimously frown upon this alliance, until Ashish promises to get a job, save enough money, buy a flat, etc.. Ashish does get a small job with Izzat Papads, and then also starts selling steroids out of the back of a van. He gets noticed by a Ad-firm owner, and gets hired. Soon he has all the luxuries that he had always dreamed of. When the Bhallas come to know about this, they decide to welcome him as their son-law, and a lavish engagement party takes place. It is then Ashish finds out that he has cancer, and he begins to create misunderstandings between him and Rani. He tries becoming an alcoholic, but that is considered normal with the Bhalla family; he confesses to Rani that he has loved Sania, a model with ad-agency, which is welcomed by Rani as being truthful and honest. But when Rani notices that he has put up Sania's photos all over his apartment, it is then that she breaks off the engagement. Ashish knows that Sania will not marry him, as she is a flirt. But when he is assigned to go to Malaysia with Sania, that is where he finds out that Sania is not quite a flirt, but wants to marry him. She even introduces him to her brother, Anna, who instantly approves of the match. Now Anna inducts Ashish into the family business - which is extortion, and a stunned Ashish is trained to be use guns and defend himself. When the time comes for marriage, Ashish confesses that he has cancer. An angered Anna summons Dr. Rustom, who in turn gives a clean health chit, and confirms that Ashish had overhead a conversation about another patient and had misunderstood. A hapless Ashish, fresh out of lies, must now resign himself to getting married to Sania - or else be hunted down and killed by Anna and his gang.
This movie is loosely inspired from an old Hindi movie, Meri Biwi Ki Shaadi, Amol Parekar starrer.

                                       

Raja (Anil Kapoor) who is full nutty falls who will be staying in a rented house along with friends opposite to the girls' hostel where Florence stays. When Raja goes for bathing to a bathroom without a door lock, to protect himself from invaders to bathroom he will hum a tune, where Florence will be searching for the tune for a competition.
Florence makes to win from the hum by nutty Raja. Then they both become friend and nutty Raja has a crush on Florence. Due which he works out to become lean and final turns lean and goes to Florence to propose her.
By the same time she introduce her lover to Raja and asks help from Raja as her aunt and her lover's uncle married as it was intercaste marriage a rival was created between the families. Now also as she is Hindu and boy Christian she wants Raja to help their love to a happy ending.
So Raja decides to act as grandson to both family and enters the village and himself finds place in Kader Khan's house who thinks himself a great singer, but whose singing tortures everybody.
In the meantime Shilpa, who is the original granddaugther of the family, enters the drama saying as Raja's wife Sandya. The rest is how he will be successful in joining the family.

                                                  

Sitara (Sanjay Dutt) and Tara (Govinda) are two brothers who are notorious, lovable, small-town con-men who are always causing trouble with the law. One day when the police are chasing them, they mistakenly shoot one of the most deadliest criminals who goes by the name Cobra (Ashish Vidyarthi). They look for cover and find themselves at Major Ram Singh's house {Jackie Shroff} who got Cobra's brother Panther (Gulshan Grover) arrested because of him and Cobra trying to steal a very advanced gun. Tara and Sitara go to Singh's house but since he is an army officer, he first doesn't allow them. But then he does. When living in his house for a while, Tara and Singh's sister fall in love. Then Sitara and Singh's sister's friend fall in love too. Then one day while in the house, they watch on the TV and learn that Cobra has came back. Then the two realize that Cobra has kidnapped their mother so he can force Tara and Sitara to get his brother (Panther) out of Ram Singh's jail. They then become successful in getting Panther out of the jail so Cobra wouldn't kill their mother. Cobra then gives them their mother. Ram Singh realizes that he has been fooled by the two and then the two watch him on TV getting embarrassed by the media. Then the two realize they should get revenge on Cobra and Panther. They then go to Singh's house and tell him how they were forced by Cobra to deceive Singh. Singh then forgives them. Then the two brothers go out to catch the two criminals. They are successful and all ends well.

                                        

The film opens with Mumbai Police Commissioner Prakash Rathod taking a respite after a jog, describing in a voice-over that he is going to retire from office the following day, and how numerous people have been recently questioning him about the most challenging case he had to deal with in his entire career, and how he has been deliberately evading such questions. As his voice-over ends the film switches into a narrative, showing the events that occurred on a certain Wednesday, which the Commissioner specifically recalls when being asked the said question. An unnamed man is shown to strategically carry a travel bag, assumed to be explosives, in the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station and proceeding to place the bag, under the false pretense of lodging an FIR, in the toilet of a police station located near the Mumbai Police headquarters. He then arrives on the rooftop of a building under construction where he has set up his base of operations, equipped with various modern technology gadgets and instruments. He calls up Rathod and informs him that 5 bombs have been placed in different locations throughout Mumbai, which are programmed to explode simultaneously within four hours unless the Commissioner gives in to his demands and releases four militants. In response, Rathod immediately alerts his team involved in intelligence research and surveillance, tapping all the available resources in gathering preliminary information and tracing the location of the caller. Meanwhile, the caller tips off television news reporter Naina Roy, telling her to reach the police headquarters immediately as it is going to be "the most important day of her life". Rathod initially suspects the anonymous caller to be bluffing, but his doubts are dispelled as the caller, to prove his seriousness and the police force's helplessness, reveals that a bomb has been planted in the police station right opposite to the Police headquarters. He tries to trigger the bomb through a cell phone, but it is located in the nick of time and defused, just as Roy reaches the scene on the caller's instructions and reports about the situation.

                                                        

 

                                            

Ravi Verma (Dino Morea) has just won a court case against Sir Judah (Gulshan Grover) and has legally received entitlement to several thousand acres of vineyards. He celebrates the victory by marrying the love of his life Kamini (Urmila Matondkar) and decides to bring her to meet his mother and his sister.
However, during their trip- Kamini and Ravi board a plane-with Ravi deciding to show her a few moves. Kamini has however sabotaged the plane and has ensured that there is no parachute for Ravi. Subsequently Ravi crashes to his death and Kamini becomes Princess Kamini. She throws out Ravi's mother and sister making them utterly destitute.
25 Years later Monty (Himesh Reshammiya) is a sensational rock star- the adopted son of J.J.Oberoi and his wife- and has everything but happiness. His only spark of happiness is his friend Dayal (Bakhtiyaar Irani) and a girl Tina (Shweta Kumar). During a show he plays the same tune on his guitar and he has flashbacks of Ravi Verma's accident and he is informed that he could be the reincarnation of Ravi Verma.
During a trip to Kenya, Monty realizes that all the pieces are in place. He has the complete recollection of his accident but wants to find out where his mother and sister are. He befriends Princess Kamini and informs her of him being Ravi Verma. Kamini lies to Monty that his mother and sister are deceased and about the circumstances of the accident that killed him in his previous birth. She is actually an agent of Sir Judah. Monty disbelieves her but pretends to keep believing her.
Finally things come to a conclusion when Monty tackles Sir Judah. Later Monty also manages to kill Kamini the way she killed him/Ravi. Then he and Tina live happily together.

                                         

Bujji (Prabhas) and Chitti (Trisha Krishnan) are inseparable childhood friends. But when an unfortunate altercation leads to a fissure between the two, Chitti asks Bujji not to meet her for 12 years. She does, however, promise to marry him at the end of the lengthy hiatus, leaving Bujji but a glimmer of hope. After half-heartedly agreeing to her harsh terms, the forlorn Bujji leaves home, the pain of living in Visakhapatnam without seeing Chitti too much to bear. He winds up in Chennai, hence the tagline, Made in Chennai.
He spends those dozen years in Chennai presumably like a 'goonda', as he is shown beating up people. Also, he spouts Tamil dialogues now and then, and is a great fan of Rajnikanth.
When Bujji returns after 12 years, he foolishly beats up cops in mufti, and lands in jail. In jail, he encounters the sons of Machi Reddy (Kota Srinivasa Rao), who give him Rs 1,00,00,000 to finish off Sivanna (Mohan Babu). But when Bujji tires to kill Sivanna, he is injured. Sivanna lets him stay at his house and uses him as his henchmen. Only then does he learn that his long lost love, Chitti, is Sivanna's sister. Chitti is studying in London and her family is living in Hyderabad. She sends her sister Sanjana to contact Bujji. Bujji disguises his name as Rajini Kanth when he is treated there. Sivanna learns that his actual name is Bujji, but he asks him no to tell Chitti, because he is scared she might never want to see him again, since he was responsible for his wife's death. When Machi Reddy learns that he is part of Sivanna's gang, his son shoots Chitti and kidnaps Sanjana, and says to switch her for Sivanna . Will Sivanna live, or Bujji live? And will Chitti live or die?

The film stars Aamir Khan, Prateik Babbar, Monica Dogra, and Kriti Malhotra and is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions.[5][6] Aamir Khan plays one of the lead roles in the movie as a painter.[1] Gustavo Santaolalla was signed to compose the score and soundtrack of the film.
Dhobi Ghat had its world premiere in September 2010 at the Toronto International Film Festival.[7] It was released in cinemas on 21 January 2011.

he film begins with Arun (Aamir Khan), a reclusive modern art painter, looking for a new house to shift into. He is seen with a real-estate agent, and finally decides upon a particular home in the older part of Mumbai, this being as per his wish. Arun is introduced to his landlady, an old woman who has never spoken a word for several years, and who seems to have an expression of deep sadness and melancholy on her face. He makes preparations to move in soon.
Later, Arun attends an art exhibition featuring his works. The exhibition features a visitor named Shai (Monica Dogra), an American banker who is on a sabbatical from her work and has come to Mumbai to research on traditional occupations, business prospects in South Asia and to generally devote time to her hobby, photography. There, she meets Arun personally after the latter gives a nervous and reluctant speech to the gathered crowd about his work. The two get along well, and Arun takes Shai to his home, where they involuntarily end up in bed. The next morning, Arun apologizes for making the incident seem to be "more than a relationship", at which Shai gets angry and stormily leaves the apartment.

                                                      

                                           

Sreenu (Ram) enjoys fights right from his childhood. He appreciates violence. He wants to be like Manikyam (Pradeep Rawat), who was a goonda, as everyone, including his teacher, is afraid of him. When all the boys wanted to become doctors, engineers, lawyers and other professionals, Sreenu wants to become a goonda. Though he behaves like a ruffian, he comes to know that one should have the support of a politician or a big dada. With the help of Laddu (A.S. Ravikumar Chowdary) an associate of Manikyam, Sreenu meets the latter and joins his gang. At this juncture, Sreenu falls in love with Subbalakshmi (Isha Sahani). As she pleads with Sreenu to help her friend's father, Sreenu agrees to settle a land deal. But the land was under illegal occupation of Manikyam's gang member.
As he promised to settle the deal, Sreenu opposes Manikyam. This makes Sreenu a hero, and he also starts doing settlements on his own. Once, Sreenu agrees to help an industrialist, whose quarry was occupied by Yadav (Satya Prakash), with the support of Manikyam. As things go out of control, Sreenu decides to kill Yadav.
However, he could not kill him but Sreenu's young brother, who also likes fighting scenes, takes the gun and kills Yadav. Sreenu appeals to the police commissioner (Prakash Raj) to mediate with Manikyam, but his men kill Sreenu's brother. This irks Sreenu who severely thrashes Manikyam, but spares him. Sreenu realizes that violence is not the way to go. When Manikyam attacks him, he kills him in self-defence. The film ends on a happy note, with Sreenu leaving all the dadagiri and leads a normal life.
