India's first creature based daytime horror film, Kaalo is about a deadly witch who attacks a bus in the deserts of Rajasthan and hunts down a girl. Based on a folktale, the story of Kaalo revolves around a desert witch by the same name. Kaalo was a witch who lived in Kulbhata during the 18th century. She was killed and buried by angry villagers for sacrificing young nubile girls to satisfy her greed for immortality, but her fear lived on. Year's later villagers spoke of Kaalo's sightings yet again. They claimed she was even more angry and dangerous and she was back to finish what she left incomplete Kulbhata was vacated overnight by scared villagers. All roads leading to Kulbhata were sealed by horrifying tales of Kaalo killing anyone who dared to enter Kulbhata until a bus carrying eleven passengers on its way to Kuldevi had to pass through Kulbhata. One of the passengers on the bus was a twelve-year-old girl named Shona who was traveling alone to spend her vacation at her grandmother's house in the neighboring village. Shona was clever, witty and cheerful. She soon became the life of the journey. Everyone loved her endearing manners. Especially the reclusive and reticent Sameer, who was traveling with a bag loaded with gun powder to blast a small hillock which would give way to a water canal for his drought hit village.Badly disfigured and thirsty for blood, Kaalo could smell the girl from miles away and headed straight for the bus. She would kill everyone who came in her way, she had to have the girl anyhow When the passengers suddenly realized they were staring into death everything changed From being the life of the journey, Shona became their very reason for dying.Everyone wanted her out of the bus, some even used her as a bait to lure Kaalo away from themselves. Human relations changed as they fought for their survival.One man stood up to Shona but for Sameer it didn't matter if Kaalo was a creature or a witch. Three friends from Delhi go missing in a small village - Jhanjhar, in Bihar. It's 2 months and there is no clue about their disappearance. The media and students movement demand action from the authorities. It's then that the government orders a Central Bureau of Investigation enquiry with officers Sidhant Chaturvedi (Akshaye Khanna) and Pratap Kumar (Ajay Devgn) to solve the case. They find it difficult to solve the case as the local police and other authorities are a part of Shool Sena, which is responsible for illicit activities. Sidhant and Pratap also face Ajatshatru Singh (Paresh Rawal), a ruthless police officer who misuses his power. Not only that even the locals don't support the investigation. It's with the help of Roshni, (Amita Pathak) who's the daughter of a rich and powerful villager, and Geeta (Bipasha Basu), who's Ajatshatru's wife and Pratap's former love, that the investigation moves ahead. This investigation is filled with many traps & thrills by Ajatshatru and his colleagues. They try to destroy the name of CBI in number of ways. Things gets worse when Ajatshatru beats Geeta brutally with his belt behind closed doors and leaves her hospitalized. Pratap, filled with anger, traps each of the criminal by hacking their respective phone's databases and capturing their illicit activities on CCTV cameras. When it is Ajatshatru's turn, Pratap cuts him with a sharp razor & beats him brutally and mercilessly in a saloon behind closed doors. At the end all the criminals are killed by village girl Jhamunia (Reema Sen) after sentencing punishments from court.

                                                 

Kusum (aka Guddi) (Jaya Bachchan) is a spunky and carefree schoolgirl who lives with her father, brother, and her brother's wife. Guddi has a crush on film star Dharmendra, who plays himself. Nobody knows the extent of her crush until she visits Bombay, where her sister-in-law's brother, Navin (played by Bengali film actor Samit Bhanja), develops a crush on her. Guddi discloses to Navin that she is in love with Dharmendra. In an attempt to win Guddi's heart, Navin discusses the matter with his uncle (Utpal Dutt), who just happens to know Dharmendra. With Dharmendra's help, they try to show Guddi the difference between the real world and the reel world.Guddi changes and accepts that in the reel world nothing is true.The film ends by Guddi agreeing to marry Navin.

                        

Young Raj Malhotra (Akshay Kumar) lives with his elder brother, Rohit; his sister-in-law Kiran, and a niece. After an accident fractures his leg, he is unable to walk for some time. Due to psychological reasons, he cannot walk even after the fracture heals. When the Malhotras move to Dehra Dun, Raj befriends young Kajal (Dutta), as both share a common passion for airplanes. Kajal encourages Raj to walk, and succeeds. Years later the two continue to be fast friends, and everyone expects them to marry soon. Then Raj is recruited by the Indian Air Force and goes for training for a year and a half. After his training gets over, he rushes to Kajal to propose to her, only to find out that she has given her heart to a multimillionaire, Karan Singhania (Verma), who owns several airplanes and choppers. Raj congratulates Kajal and Karan, but does not reveal his true feelings. Thereafter the Malhotras move to Nainital, and Raj relocates to Europe for more training. It is here that he meets the gorgeous and fun-loving, Jiya (Chopra).
 Jiya falls for Raj, but Raj, however is unable to take Kajal out of his mind. Later on, after much pleading and pressure from his family, Raj decides to marry Jiya and move on with his life.
 Then, one day while visiting Jiya's family, Raj learns that Kajal is no one else but Jiya's own sister-in-law. Also he comes face to face with the harsh truth that Kajal is a widow now after Karan dies in a plane crash. Kajal thinks that she is responsible for Karan's death and also loses her mental balance and ends up in a hospital after attempting suicide.
 Raj recovers Kajal from the depression and enables her to come face to face with life again, also he expresses his true feelings to her and proposes to her.

                                                                 

Earth (Hindi: अर्थ; released in India as 1947: Earth) is a 1998 film directed by Deepa Mehta. It is based upon Bapsi Sidhwa's novel, Cracking India, (1991, U.S.; 1992, India; originally published as Ice Candy Man, 1988, England). Earth is the second part of Mehta's Elements trilogy. It was preceded by Fire (1996) and followed by Water (2005).

 

The story is set in Lahore in the time period directly before and during the partition of India in 1947.
 A young girl with polio, Lenny (Maia Sethna), narrates the story through the voice of her adult self (Shabana Azmi). She is from a wealthy Parsi family who hopes to remain neutral to the rising tensions between Hindus, Sikhs, and Muslims in the area. She is adored and protected by her parents, Bunty (Kitu Gidwani) and Rustom (Arif Zakaria) and is cared for by her Ayah, a beautiful Hindu woman, Shanta (Nandita Das). Both Dil Navaz, the Ice-Candy Man (Aamir Khan) and Hassan, the Masseur (Rahul Khanna) are Muslim and in love with Shanta. Shanta, Dil, and Hassan are part of a small group of friends from different faiths (some of whom work for Lenny's family) who spend their days together in the park. With partition, however, this once unified group of friends becomes divided and tragedy ensues.

 Throughout Shanichari's lifetime of misfortune she has never cried. This creates great difficulty once she is called to become a rudaali until Bhinkni, an experienced mourner, enters her life [2]. Shanichari and the local landlord's son fall in love with each other, but Shanichari is reluctant to ask the rich lover for money as she does not want to lower her love even for the sake of getting out of poverty and misery

                                                   

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (literally translating to "Big Brother, Small Brother" in English) is a 1998 Bollywood film starring Amitabh Bachchan in a double role, Govinda in a double role, Anupam Kher, Ramya Krishnan, and Raveena Tandon. Directed by David Dhawan, it was released in the Diwali of 1998 along with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. This movie was the 1st Hit of Amitabh Bachchan at the box office since his comeback after a few years of hiatus from Bollywood. A remake of the Hollywood film Bad Boys.[1] and is also inspired by William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors[2] this movie was the 2nd Highest grosser of the year after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The Bumper collections at the Box Office and the thunderous opening ensured that the movie was the 2nd Biggest Hit of the year.

Two friends, Arjun Singh (Amitabh Bachchan) and Pyare Mohan (Govinda), are in the police force. Arjun's sister Seema (Raveena Tandon) is in love with Pyare. Arjun has no female companion and some pretty crude comments are often passed about his age.
 Meanwhile, the villain Jorawar (Paresh Rawal) kills a cop who tries to pry into his private affairs—that's smuggling of arms and diamonds. Rawal also appears terrified of the police, but the mood seems to come and go. For when it comes to snuffing one out, he has no problem doing it. Along with the cop, he also gets rid of an eyewitness, played by Divya Dutta in a blink-and-you-miss-her role.
 But there's another eyewitness, Neha (Ramya Krishnan), friend of the girl you hardly saw. She comes up to Arjun, confusing him for Pyare, but that's all cleared up in a few song sequences or so. Darned useful, these songs; nice way to get rid of uncomfortable problems.
 Anyway, the trouble begins when the villains begin hunting for Neha, just when she's cavorting around with Arjun. Just when the heroes are all ready to go up a notch over the villains, in pop two petty thieves whom even their mothers would confuse for Arjun and Pyare. They call themselves Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan. The plot's in knots.
 Arjun and Pyare are blamed for every crime the crooks commit and things aren't helped when Anupam Kher, the police commissioner, is also thrashed by the doubles.

                                               

i was not a big amir khan's fan before this movie but after watching "ghulam" it not only made me amir khan's fan but also at the same he stamped himself as the bollywood ace...

"Ghulam" shows the sudden change in the life of sidharth who first being non-serious in his life soon realise the reality of the life and when he becomes more loyal he has to pay for the changes.. emotional scenes are wonderfully executed by amir khan, the way he has tackled difficult scenes shows what a brilliant actor he's been for bollywood... whereas rani mukherjee looks gorgeous but have little to offer in a brief role.. all in all a very good movie with a good twist and a better second half... also the climax was very astonishing... the music is good to ear... highly recommended to all amir khan's fans!

                                                                         

The affable Nandu (Sanjay Dutt), a small-time crook who is hired to deliver a mysterious package to a notorious criminal named Pinky (Paresh Rawal). Feeling that he's being cheated on his delivery fee, Nandu holds out for more money, and soon finds himself on the run from both the angry gangsters and the police, who have launched a massive manhunt. Nandu and Bhavani (Urmila Matondkar), the lovely cabaret dancer who's tagging along for the ride, assume the package contains gold; both are unpleasantly surprised when it turns out to be something deadlier.

                                                                           

Again one flop film by Guddu Dhanoa. I think he must have thought that Akshay and Saif’s Jodi was a superhit in "Main Khiladi Tu Anari” then I think people would love to see him again in his next film and they can become the selling material for the film. But he forgot that public story maangti hain! No matter who hero aur whoever crap heroines they cast, story achhi honi chaiye boss!

This is a comedy with three physically impaired men: Tom (Jaiyant - deaf), Dick (Deepak - blind), and Harry (Debraj - mute). They live together as paying guests, and their life takes an endearing turn when a beautiful girl Celina comes to live in the bungalow opposite their house. They start making their moves to cast an impression on Celina , who is least interested in acknowledging their presence. Where as in Tom’s life there’s Bijlee, a fisherwoman, who is completely besotted by Tom, and does not leave any stone unturned to express her desire. On the other hand there is Suprano (Gulshan Grover), a bad man, who is out to prove that he is the worst villain ever. Tom, Dick & Harry unknowingly become the target of Suprano, by being the biggest barrier in his business deals.
